A downloadable game for Windows

Presenting Tetris 22! Tetris 22 is like Tetris 99 but 23 years newer but yet somehow worse better. In Tetris, you must manipulate blocks to clear lines.

An internet connection is required to download assets except if you download the version that has the assets in it.

Keys:

Down Arrow: Move piece down by one line

Up Arrow: Rotate piece

Left Arrow: Move piece left

Right Arrow: Move piece right

Slash: Hold piece

Escape: Pause/unpause

Q: Return to menu

F3: Debug (FPS and RNG counts)

S: Save Game (will autosave on Q)

Saving information:

You have 5 game saves. Save one with the S key. IN the game menu, a selected game has a green square next to it.

Install instructions

Instructions for standalone version (tetris.exe):

tetris.exe works on Windows 7-11. If you have any issues, please comment immediatly

Simply run the downloaded executable. You may have to dismiss a malware warning. I assure you that this is not malware. If you want to build it yourself the source is here https://github.com/Enderbyte-Programs/pytetris.  Upon execution the screen will say "Enderbyte Programs". While it is doing this, the game is checking and downloading all of the required assets (music, textures) for the game to function properly.

Installers already come with all of the assets so there should be no need for internet unless it can't find files.

Same for ZIPs. They have no password.

If you want to run the standalone without downloading the assets, open a command prompt and run it with the argument --stripped. It will start the program with no dependencies.
